Mari Yamazaki, author of Thermae Romae, drew an representation for the upcoming Western film Her Love Comes Bathwater (Yu o Wakasu Hodo no Atsui Ai).
The live-action film comes out on October 30 in Japan. The history follows Futaba (Rie Miyazawa), who has a young and tough side, and her daughter Azumi (Hana Sugisaki). When Futaba discovers that she doesn't have enough time left to live, she decides the lady has four thingsthe girl must do before {the lady dies: find her lacking husband and get him to resume the family bathhouse business, get her daughter Azumi to stand onto her own, find the right man for Azumi, and something related with her own secret.
The collaboration sprung out of the fact that the father's occupation is managing bathhouse, which is a major theme in Yamazaki's award-winning seinen series Thermae Romae. Yamazaki comment that, "Just the mother's passion alone often will steam all of the bathhouse water in country of Japan. Make no mistake. "
In the picture, the protagonist of Thermae Romae, ancient Ancient rome bathhouse architect Lucius, {suspension springs|suspension systems|spring suspensions} up in front of Futaba and her girl. He states in the dialogue, "Guided {at this time|with this} 'Yu o Wakasu Hodo no Atsui Ai', I journeyed across space and time! "
Yamazaki's Thermae Romae comedy manga handles the two cultures in the world "that have adored baths the most: the Japanese and the Journal! " The manga went in Enterbrain's Monthly Comedian Beam magazine from 2008-2013 and received the Mangote Taisho (Cartoon Grand Prize) in 2010. Yen Press accredited the manga in North America and a six episode anime TELEVISION series aired on Fuji TV in January 2012. It also inspired two live-action films starring Hiroshi Abe.
